Saranee Fernando

Qualitative Methodologist

Saranee Fernando (MPH) is a Qualitative Methodologist for the Evaluation Team at Advancing Health. Saranee has a Master of Public Health degree, with a specialization in Health Promotion. Her experience conducting community-based research spans nearly a decade, with projects ranging from the overdose response in BC, to health service utility of people living with HIV. She is also involved in qualitative research and evaluation in the areas of youth mental health, chronic illness, and health technology assessment. Currently, Saranee is also a doctoral student at the University of British Columbia exploring arts-based methods for conducting health research.
