Lillian Hung

SCIENTIST, RN, PHD

To innovate and improve dementia care, she uses a range of methods to find innovative solutions to address clinical problems in care facilities and acute hospitals.

Dr. Hung’s research focuses on examining how the environment (e.g., technology, physical design and social aspects) may impact the care experiences of persons with dementia.

Research Interests

  • Using technology and environmental strategies in dementia care
  • Program evaluations in dementia education

In her Ph.D. dissertation, she used an appreciative inquiry action research approach to engage staff, leaders, patients, and families to co-create changes for patients with dementia.
