Danette Jubinville

Research Coordinator

Danette joined Advancing Health in September 2021 as a Research Coordinator with Dr. Sarah Munro’s team and as Co-Principal Investigator for Improving Access to Family Planning Services for Indigenous Peoples through Storytelling: the STORY Project. She is currently a PhD Candidate at the SFU Faculty of Health Sciences and the Director of Research and Education for the Ekw’í7tl Indigenous Doula Collective.

Danette’s work aims to improve the quality and accessibility of reproductive health care services for Indigenous people in the city, a project near to her heart as an urban mixed-blood woman and mother with Cree, Saulteaux, French, Jewish, German, Scottish, and English ancestry.
