Health economists, physicians, biostatisticians, psychologists, epidemiologists, and other health care experts gathered in Vancouver for the Society for Medical Decision-Making (SMDM) 38th Annual North American Meeting.

CHÉOS Scientist Dr. Nick Bansback was Co-Chair of this year’s conference, along with outgoing SMDM President Dr. Mark Helfand.
The four-day conference had a variety of presentations and discussions around mentorship, medical decision-making, and ways to improve patient engagement.
