Citizen Science — A method to engage the public in asking and answering novel research questions

This CHÉOS WiP session will focus on Citizen Science – a method to engage the public in asking and answering novel research questions. Dr Linda Li, Dr Codie Primeau, and Alison Hoens will introduce the concept of Citizen Science and share their journey in the development and enrichment of an online portal to enable the public to share their symptoms and stories of health care experiences (currently focusing on pain and/or long COVID) and compare these experiences with those of others living with similar conditions.
